Efficient and Effective: Rowlett’s balanced attack too much for South Garland

There is still a long way to go in the 9-6A playoff race, but Rowlett knew that Friday’s game against South Garland was one it needed to have. A victory would propel the Eagles back into the thick of contention, while a loss on the other hand, would make it a difficult chore to climb the standings.
Rowlett played like it was a must-win from the opening snap and it paid dividends on the scoreboard, where it rolled to a 41-14 victory over the Titans at Homer B. Johnson Stadium.The Eagles (2-4) even their district record at 2-2 as the move into sole possession of fifth place, while South Garland, who played well at times, drops to 0-4 in 9-6A and 2-4 overall.
